What’s up in the studio:
Curiosity and interest
Working indoors in the art studio is seasonal. During spring, summer and fall, I work outdoors as a gardener. There is so much to see and do.
This summer my one of my inspirations swims and hunts in the water, the other grows and flys in the wind. They are Pond frogs and Monarch caterpillars.
The intelligence, dexterity and power expressed through their feet and hands is captivating.
Finding caterpillars in the rain is a bit of a treasure hunt. Heads or tails, they look the same. The longest antennae identifies their head.
